April Book Drive for Books for Africa

During the month of April, the Westminster chapter of Books for a Purpose, led by chapter president Anna Wickliffe, organized a book drive to benefit the Books for Africa nonprofit.

The school-wide drive was highly successful, and the chapter donated over 100 books to Books for Africa.

Books like the ones donated help develop necessary critical thinking, comprehension, and reasoning skills. The Books for a Purpose club is glad to have partnered with Books for Africa to advance literacy and educational opportunities in African schools and communities.

Books for Africa, established in 1988, is a global nonprofit organization that aims to end the book famine in Africa. The organization ships donated children's books, textbooks, and reference books to all African countries.
